It does not take much aggressive driving either, very few people drive gentle enough to not have this occur. Separate plates float and will not curl and warp.
Because the inside and outside spin at different speeds due to the size of the circle, solid circle plates want to curl and warp.
Most aluminum flywheel also only have aluminum bolt holes for the clutch to bolt to the flywheel, the SZ/RPS has steel thread inserts.
Most aftermarket flywheels are also not balanced, the SZ/RPS is.
All the clutch alignment pins on other flywheels are just straight pins that fall out when the flywheel expands, The SZ/RPS has stepped pins, so the clutch holds the pin in.
